Locating the Astrology Houses in Your House

If you’ve been following my YouTube channel, then you may have heard me talk about the fire next door that required me to exit my fire escape.

Just days before all of this took place, my refrigerator mysteriously went out, which required the broken A/C unit to be removed that was blocking the window used for the fire escape. Luckily, everything turned out okay with my building.

Between the refrigerator, broken A/C unit, and an escape out the window all in the same area of my house, I had to ask myself, “What area of my life is this representing?”

On the Bagua Map, it is my Creativity Section. This rang a familiar bell. Saturn has been taking its last and final tour through Scorpio. This particular transit has been taking place for me in my 5th House. The 5th House also governs Creativity! Ah ha. This got me thinking…

I have often correlated the sections of the Bagua Map with the Houses in astrology (cause that’s just where my mind goes), but I finally sat down and connected the dots to create the diagram below. There are only nine guas compared to 12 houses (plus I added the Ascendant – not really a House) so it doesn’t translate perfectly. (Not to mention, Feng Shui has its own astrological methods that are completely different from Western Astrology.)

Here is a diagram that I created of the Bagua Map used in feng shui with the correlating Houses in Western Astrology.

Bagua w: Astrological Houses2

So hopefully this will help you astrology nerds out there (like me) who also have an affinity for feng shui (like me) to see where your houses fall within your, uh, house.

Side note: For those of you that are not that familiar with astrology, I apologize for not going into more depth. You can read about all the houses and what they represent here, in addition to getting your own natal chart here. If you are unsure about applying the Bagua Map to your home, then link here for my free gift that has instructions.

If there are any Houses that are particularly challenging you right now, then see where they fall within your home. For example, when I realized that the removal of the broken A/C unit created a vast space that I had not filled yet (leaving me feeling quite empty), I added a terranium to the window. Much better.

For some of you, it may be a hot spot for clutter, an unused space, or your least favorite room. As you make positive changes in these areas of your house, you will see some ease in your correlating astrological house. Take a look and see what you find!
